About the Sun and Blue Light
Sunscreen is important all year round (did you know that?!)
Sunscreen should be applied to dry skin 15 minutes before heading outside. Did you know that water, snow and sand reflect the damaging rays more easily onto your skin, increasing your chances of sunburn and skin damage? 10 am to 2 pm is when the sun’s rays are the strongest and even on cloudy days our skin can be harmed by the suns rays by 20%. Blue light is a strong light that emits from the screens of cell phones, computers, LED lighting etc. Research shows that HEV can reach deeper into the skin layers causing aging quicker than UVA/UVB. The sun also emits blue light, meanings its everywhere. We love Coola sunscreen year round and we sell it in store.
